Stairs that lead nowhere but up, photographed at the hour they turn pink.
Casa Alba asked for their new courtyard to look like a painting. We came back four mornings in a row until the sky was clean and the shadow line fell exactly on the third step.
Shot on a 6×7 with no lens shift, so the walls lean the way your eye sees them.
